ZESTO Q

DJ Zesto Q established his career in 2002, cultivating his repertoire as a seasoned performer, DJ, and events promoter in the NYC Underground Hip-Hop & Electronic scenes respectively. His production spans the landscape of Beat Culture, from Chill to Manic, Robotic to Organic, Low Key Lounge to All-Night Ruckus. Lyrically, his compositions tackle social issues and the role Art plays in a rapidly changing future.

A graduate of the Music Conservatory at Purchase College and son of an Avant Garde Jazz Guitarist, Zesto’s work reflects his life experience and formal training in Music History & Production, Progressive Arts Curation, and Community Service.

DJ Zesto Q has collaborated and performed with such artists as Team Shadetek (Warp/Sound-Ink), Vyle (Newhive/Scratch Academy) Despot & Masai Bey (of Definitive Jux), Drop The Lime (Trouble & Bass), CX Kidtronik (Stones Throw), and Armand Hammer (Backwoodz Studios).
